Happy Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone out there even if it's only the eve of chinese new year.

Today, we stayed in class for 1 hour (7. 30 - 8.30 am). Through the window, I watched YPS's lion dance. It was in the carpark. Lat year it was in the hall. The lion dance was the same, two people in the costume jumping on platforms.

Then we went to the hall tow watch the performance.

There were the girls dancing, history of CNY, the zodiac game, best costume catwalk, lion dance and the AI version of hairspray.

The lion dance was lame. Hate to admit it but YPS's lion dance was better. The performers jumped on platforms whereas the performers in AI just danced on the ground and walked around the crowd.

The AI Hairspray was about this guy called Zac (played by my scouts teacher) and this girl he has a crush on (played by a teacher I don't know). It was a musical of english and chinese songs. lame.

Then we went to YPS. Nothing much happened. Many ppl from P6 last year were there. Saw Mdm Kuek. She said "No red packets for ex-students." lol.

We went to fitness corner then Sanjeeth and Pe Thet fought with some Northland boys. One Northland boy was injured then they called their gang in Northland. Sanjeeth was safe. Pe Thet got into trouble. The gang arrived and it was only Pe Thet vs. 7 or 8 of them. Pe Thet fought 1-on-1 with one the gang members. We didn't get to see it, we left.

PS: I let Pe Thet wear my tie and he went into YPS. Mr Chin, Principal of AI, saw him. He asked why he was wearing the tie. Only AI students can wear it he said. Pe Thet wanted to transfer to AI. Mr Chin said it's going to be tough coz there aren't any space left and no one wants to transfer out. He asked Pe Thet which school he's from. He told him that he's in Northland. And Mr Chin was like, "Whoa cool man! New uniform. Nice." We told Mr Chin (Charles with me) that the shorts was cool because it's long. He said our current shorts was ok. And he said, " See they'rre shirts are tucked in." (referring to us) That was a close one coz I almost tucked out my shirt while I was going there. I thought Mr Chin was gonna go mad but it turned he's quite a good guy. That was a crazy episode.
