Math paper 2 was medium.
After school, I was in the canteen talking to my sec 4 friend. Mr Fong saw me. He asked me if my shirt is tucked in. I was damn sure it was tucked in so I showed him. Then I said "'Cher it's tucked in what," smiling in a friendly manner.
I stood up and talked to him. He told me " I'm gonna give u 10 seconds to
change ur stand before my face changes"
So I was like "what?"
Change my stand? So I thought it was my posture. I asked him what he meant but he kept counting. So I thought I was talking rudely to him but no, I was talking to him casually just like what every student would do. Then he asked me whether I'm right or wrong. Then I got it. I saw the back of my shirt. It wasn't tucked in. Ok, so I've done a simple mistake. Big Deal. I've admitted my mistake to him but he continued counting. Finally his countdown reached zero. "
One day detention" Then I was like WHAT!? Then he thought I was arguing then he made it a
2 day detention after the exams. Usually when a teacher catches u in this situation, there will be a short conversation and correcting the mistake and it's done.
But no, don't mess with Mr Fong, especially when he has a new haircut. Then when he was about to leave, he said "How many detentions?"
"2" I replied.
Then when he left, I just sat down and talked to my friends in astonishment.
I asked my sec 4 friend "How come ur face never get book?" Then my friends burst out laughing.I can't believe it man, 2 days detention for a tucked out shirt? And I didn't know what
'Changing my stand' meant. Sorry mate, my english isn't that good. Then people will say, "WAH! Fong Cheng Shek power sia! 2 detentions for a tucked out shirt" When he gains this street cred, it's all because me.
This is so unfair...
